Life of a Sardine™ is an independent community education project dedicated to helping citizens understand the forces shaping their communities and encouraging informed public participation.

Through education, public records, research, community resources, conservation awareness, and civic engagement, we provide citizens with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to participate in decisions that affect the places they call home.

Our mission is to help citizens stay citizens—not sardines.
